After fulfilling one of my childhood dreams of playing Division 1 college football at Syracuse University, I turned my focus to Special Education. My mission was, and still is, to ensure that ALL students have access to grade-level curriculum. I firmly believe this is done through strong partnerships with families, meaningful relationships with students, and strategic partnerships with teammates.

In this podcast, we explore why and how people hustle in the world of education.
The word ‘Hustler’ or ‘Hustling’ tends to have a negative connotation. It's upsetting when I hear someone use the term disapprovingly. This is due to the admiration I have for my father. I consider him to be the ultimate Hustler.
He works hard, is knowledgeable, sets clear goals and accomplishes what he sets his mind to. These are admirable traits that everyone should strive for.
My dad chose a different industry than me. In fact, he chose me! And I chose education. That’s the reason I call myself ‘The Hustling Educator.’
